Wedding Photography

As I take you through the elements that may make up your Wedding Day, you will see examples of my work. Each wedding is unique and deserves it’s own bespoke memories that speak to you, the couple. I edit your photographs according to your vision. Some photographers have “their” look and if that’s exactly the look you want, that’s great. I pride myself on being versatile.

Prior to the day I will meet with you and discuss your individual needs and welcome your creative input to the style of your photos. I am happy to share a variety of real albums I have delivered previously to assist you in the direction you would like to go, whether a classic, subtle vibe or something more vivid and bold. During my editing process I will share examples as I work on the photographs, giving you the opportunity to play a part in the final finished collection.

However, many couples also want to leave the creative process up to me and that is fine to!

From the moment THE question is popped...

Some proposals are expected, even planned by both parties, to ensure that everything is just so. Others are a true surprise, taking the recipient’s breath away, before it returns to repond with a “Yes!”

Whether you want your proposal posed to perfection, lining up the exact lighting and backdrop, or you want me to be discreet to not give away the real reason why you’ve brought them on an random walk to this beautiful spot, I will ensure the moment they said “Yes!” is preserved forever.

To the preparation on The Big Day ...

The wait is finally over, the day is here. Suits are being buttoned, dresses fitted, mimosas, espresso martinis and lashings of tea are being drunk. The preparation portion of the day is often the most FUN!

Surrounded by your nearest and dearest, helping each other get ready, exchanging gifts, laughing, possibly crying (but not after the eye make up has been applied!). The preparation is as much a part of your wedding day as any other and just a deserving of being documented to smile back at for years to come.

To the grand arrival...

The main event. All your planning has led to this moment. Walking down the aisle to say two little words.

From intimate ceremonies, to grand surroundings, both equally beautiful, I will capture every emotion, every expression and that magical moment where you finally say “I Do!”

You’ve done all the preparation, the party is to come, but this is a moment to appreciate your love for each other and a moment that you should be able to look back on again and again.

To sealing it with a kiss...

You’ve exchanged your “I do”s, and now it’s time for the kiss. Will it be a delicate peck (their mum is watching…) on a more extravagant manifestation of your love?

However you seal your marriage, I will capture this most beautiful of moments for you to remember for all time

To your first walk as a married couple...

You’ve kissed the bride (or groom) and now you’re on  your way to receive your guests and celebrate!

Leaving the ceremony under a shower of confetti to cheers and the occasional happiest of tears, this is your chance to soak it all in. Whether with a select group offriends and family or with tens or even hundreds of guests lining the route, in this moment your guests get to share their expression of joy for you magical day. Having memories of this unrepeatable experience are essential.

To the dreaded group photos...

Love them or hate them, group photos are a tradition. But the secret is to make them fun!

If you prefer the formal approach, we can go that way, however my advice is almost always to let you and your loved ones personalities’ shine!

Big smiles, laughter, a mix of serious and less serious poses. Just because it is a tradition doesn’t mean it cant also be fun!

To your own moment of reflection...

At this point, I always encourage the couple to take a moment to breathe.

The emotions are high and your guests are keen to celebrate with you, but venue permitting, you deserve a moment of peace together before the festivities really take off.

I’ll infringe on this briefly to get some intimate pictures of you together, before leaving you to take it all in.

To the first dance...

This comes more naturally to some than others, not everyone can dance. But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t!

The advantage of still photography means the world will not see your two left feet, but they will see the emotion as you enjoy YOUR song before being joined on the dancefloor by your guests for…

THE Party!

The celebrations go on into the evening. Singing, dancing, cigars, cocktails, laughter, tears, Sweet Caroline (if you really insist!) I will preserve it all for you to enjoy long after the hangover has passed!

Whether a small reception, or hundreds of evening guests, I will ensure they are all represented in your photographs celebrating your big day!

But what about............?!

No two weddings are the same. What may be one couple’s most key moment of the day, may not even be a part of someone else’s.

This list was not meant to be exhaustive, but to take you through some of the key moments that may make up your day.

First glimpses, bouquet throwing, cake cutting, father of the brides dance, secretly planned dance choreography from the groomsmen… the list goes on and that is why I work with my clients, not for them.

From the point of booking, through to final delivery, I will provide a bespoke service based on communication, to ensure you get exactly what you want from me on YOUR wedding day.

Weddings are complicated enough. Venues, caterers, tailors all offer packages at different price points that can be overwhelming and confusing.

To make things simpler, I offer my services at one affordable standard rate of £1600. This is via a £400 deposit at the time of booking with the rest due 28 days before the wedding date. I offer a £100 discount if you choose to pay up front at the time of booking. I do not offer half day packages.

This includes everything listed above, and anything else that you wish to include within your wedding day. From as early as 7am, until 1 hour after the first dance, I will be at your service.

This includes a pre wedding in person meeting (or via phone if you prefer), and all your photos delivered digitally within 28 days of the ceremony date.

Please note that physical copies and albums are not a service I provide, however I can assist you in arranging these if this is something you would like.
I also never provide RAW photographs to clients.
